Mindset Matters #2 Go With The Flow

We all have areas of our lives where everything just seems to flow...easily and effortlessly.

And then again, there are areas where it just isn't so simple.

And we are told to think positively, affirm that 'X is working perfectly', and focus on feeling fantastic in order to turn things around and get what we really want.

Easier said than done, huh?

Well, here is a great exercise that you can use to improve every area of your life. I call it:

Transferring What's Working

Think of an area where you feel GREAT! An area where everything is working perfectly, which is easy and fun and joyful and that you truly believe is flowing and fabulous for you.
That could be your health, or your relationships, or perhaps you are great at making new friends or you have a beautiful home which everybody admires and appreciates.

What are some of the deep-seated, empowering beliefs you have around that area?
For me one area is health, and I truly believe that:

-I easily manifest great health.
I expect to be healthy, fit and well.
-I naturally do things that promote my good health.
-I choose healthy activities because I love doing them and I do them daily.
I really look forward to doing these, it is never a chore.
-I choose foods which are healthy and which I love - again, I gravitate naturally towards them.
-I truly believe that my great energy around my health keeps me really well.
-If I ever 'fall off the wagon' I just jump right back on - it's never a problem and I don't beat myself up about it.
-I have made so many smart choices and they really feel good for me.
-I naturally think healthily; it's easy and effortless for me, a 'no-brainer'!

Try it for yourself. Get a pen and paper and make a list... 🙂

Now transfer those same super-empowering beliefs to another area, one which has been more challenging for you (changing that now!!) For me, the area of wealth.
Here are some great new beliefs that I can take on:

-I easily manifest wealth and great money.
I expect my bank account to be healthy, fit and well.
-I naturally do things that promote my wealth.
-I choose activities and take actions that increase my wealth because I love doing them and I do them daily.
-I really look forward to doing these, it is never a chore.
-I love feeling wealthy and all these good feelings of security, self-confidence, recognition, contentment, etc.
-I choose to do things which create wealth only because I love to do them and they make me feel great.
-I'm open to avenues, sources, channels, to allow my money in - they can be expected or unexpected.
-The money I get from my work is like an exchange of energy for all the great things I can give - and I allow myself to receive money and fantastic experiences through wonderful people and organisations.
-I gravitate naturally towards poeople and situations and opportunities which bring me amazing wealth.
-I am a magnet for wonderful people, situations and opportunities. What I want wants me.
-It's easy and effortless and such fun, bringing in wealth.
-I really believe that my good energy around money keeps me wealthy.
-I've always had enough and always will. I now allow myself to ask for even more.

Your turn...

As you read the statements in your second, more challenging area, become aware of your energy and your self-talk. The moment they start to gravitate to 'negativity' re-read the first list, where you just KNOW you feel great. Recapture that CERTAINTY and those GREAT feelings and beliefs. The more you do this the easier it becomes.

Believe in yourself, and the rest will fall into place. Have faith in your own abilities, work hard, and there is nothing you cannot accomplish.''

Let me know how this exercise works for you - I'd love to hear some of the new self-reinforcing beliefs that you are ready to take on and what you are able to accomplish with this new, improved mindset. 🙂
